Cleaning Compounds and Solvents

Gyro Exhaust Gas Cleaner - specially designed for all inert gas stains and soot residue. A premium mixture of cleaning agents formulated specifically to penetrate and dissolve inert gas compounds that adhere to tank walls. This product from Gyro is the ultimate inert gas stain remover and can be safely applied to all tank walls.

Gyro Bunker 'C' Solvent - a highly concentrated solvent base emulsifier for removing bunker "C" and other petroleum based products. It can be effectively used to clean petroleum from cargo tanks, tank tops, decks and bilges.

Gyro Voyage Clean - a high solvency base emulsifier and cleaner with excellent oil-in-sea water emulsification ability. Often used for cleaning and gas freeing petroleum oil tanks while the ship is at sea.

A-V-O-Liquid (Super) - a completely new chemical containing an unusual molecular structure of alkalis coupled with a synergetic blend of alkalis and heat-stabilizing surfactants which is extremely effective for removing all types of animal and vegetable oils such as tallow, soybean, sunflower, fish oil, etc.

Hydrocarbon Cleaner - designed specifically to remove any traces of hydrocarbons left in tanks after they have been cleaned with a typical solvent degreaser. Designed for use when the presence of hydrocarbon will contaminate the next cargo. Safe on all types of coatings such as Dimetocote.

Gyro Rust Remover - a highly concentrated well inhibited acid, with built-in boosters, acid stable wetting agents and glycol grease removers.

Carbon Remover - C - a liquid product containing chlorinated hydrocarbons, penetrants, cresols, wetting agents and inhibitors formulated specifically for removing hard carbon deposits and carbon-gum residues.

Electrical Motor Solvent "F" - a newly developed solvent with a fast evaporation rate, for cleaning electric motors, electronic instruments, panel boards and related electrical equipment.

Electrical Motor Solvent "M" - a blend of several chlorinated hydrocarbons and petroleum distillates with a moderate evaporation rate for cleaning electric motors, instruments, panel boards machinery and related electrical equipment.

"L" Descaler - a newly developed, highly active liquid acid containing amphoteric penetrants for dissolving hard water scale.

Liquid Soap - a highly concentrated liquid detergent. It is nonionic, anionic and amide compound with effective soil releasing agents.

Gyro Washing Powder - a newly developed all purpose detergent recommended for general cleaning and maintenance.

Powdered Rig Wash - a concentrated cleaning compound soluble in fresh and salt water.

Acrylate Cleaner - a glycol base complex amine concentrate for counteracting odors and chemically neutralizing acrylate esters. Biodegradable and water rinseable.

Separsol Bilge Cleaner - a cleaner designed for use in bilge systems where a separator is employed.

Gyro Hot Tank Cleaner - a cleaner formulated for use in vat systems where removal of oils, greases, paint, scales and other contaminants from various forgings is desired.

Pier & Deck Cleaner - a water-based product formulated to remove grime, dirt, and oily deposits from concrete, steel, and wooden decks.

Gyro Dye Out Compound - a mild alkaline product with a blend of surface active and reducing agents with high penetrating abilities to remove color from cargo tank surfaces. It is particularly effective when loading color sensitive cargoes such as methanol, isopropyl alcohol, styrene monomer, and ethylene glycol "fiber grade."

Air Cooler Cleaner - a solution of highly active solvents, detergents and corrosive inhibitors, specifically formulated to remove oil, grease, and sludge formulations from air coolers.

Coal Tar Remover - an extremely high solvency based product. It contains chlorinated hydrocarbons, penetrants, cresols, wetting agents and inhibitors specifically for cleaning such cargoes as coal tar, carbon black feed stock and cresols.

Treatments and Coatings

Gyronol 101 - the most advanced fuel oil treatment for modern steam generating units that burn Bunker- "C" or lighter distillates. It is completely soluable in fuel oils and disperses atomic manganese throughout the firebox. It will improve combustion and prevent corrosion by eliminating the formation of nitric and sulfuric oxides. It will prevent slag formation and bridging by raising the fusion temperature of alkali metals and vanadium.

Gyrol Dieselnol - developed specifically to perform as a multipurpose additive for distillate fuels such as gasoline, diesel oils, kerosene, furnace oils, jet fuels and turbine oils.

Gyrocor W.C. (Corrosion Inhibitor for Water Systems) - a highly concentrated liquid cooling treatment compound, designed for use in closed water systems of internal combustion equipment.

Vaptreat L - a highly active antifoulant, water scale inhibitor, dispersant and anti-precipitant compound for use in industrial and marine water systems, such as cooking systems, heat exchangers, air conditioning equipment, etc.

Gyro Emulsion Breaker - will separate fuel oil and salt water emulsions from bunker tanks, industrial storage tanks, lube oil tanks, etc.

Gyrokote (Metal Corrosion Inhibitor) - a special mineral oil type rust and corrosive preventive designed to prevent corrosion from sea water in ship ballast tanks.

Oxykote (Metal Corrosion Inhibitor) - an excellent corrosion inhibitor for all metal surfaces. It does not contain hydrocarbon or petroleum derivatives and readily adheres to all metal surfaces. It impairs or eliminates corrosion by creating a moisture barrier for the applied surfaces.

Breaker/WWT - formulated to meet the ever changing regulations for the treatment of tank cleaning waste water after using petroleum based solvents, such as Gyro Voyage Clean and Bunker "C" cleaners.

Gyrosol L.T. (Low Toxicity Oil Spill Dispersant) - an oil spill dispersant with an extremely low toxic level to most sensitive marine and plant life species.

Gyro Biocide - an excellent treatment in controlling the growth of hydrocarbon degrading bacteria and fungi in petrochemical storage tanks.

Gyro Deodorizer - specifically formulated to mask harsh odors associated with certain types of cargoes (i.e. fish oils, animal oils, and/or hides, sour grain, etc.).

Citrosolv - a water base non-ionic detergent derived from citrus fruits.. It is a non-toxic and mildly alkaline cleaner.

Disc Cleaner - a liquid blend of surfactants and emulsifying agents in a specially inhibited inorganic acid-based solvent.

Gyro Waterless Hand Cleaner - a gentle, yet very concentrated cleaner, for use with or without water.
